Building up to another memorable show day!It is my distinct pleasure, and privilege to welcome you to The North Lonsdale Agricultural Show 2010 and I hope you have a most enjoyable day. This years show will be held on Wednesday 28th July. Much work is put into the show by a strong band of volunteers and I extend my grateful thanks to them all, as with out their enterprise and dedication the show would simply no exists.
The North Lonsdale Agricultural Show is genuinely a “Local Show” with a vast number of people all ages and background taking an active part. Just look in the display marquees and all around to see what I mean. Everyone loves the show, the colour, the spectacle, the smell, the range of all the interesting things going on, the thrill of winning a prize and don’t forget the wonderful beer tent! It is a fine exhibition of what the district is about, cattle, sheep, horses, rabbits, and dogs and lots more besides. Amidst it all is a grand opportunity to have a chat and to see folk that perhaps one hasn’t seen since last year’s show. A truly social occasion.
